Excel 2010 Application Window Controls Parts

The Excel 2010 Application Window Controls has two possible displays: maximized window and restored window.

Maximized Window

If the Excel 2010 Application Window is maximized then the Excel 2010 Application Window Controls will look like the example shown below. This Excel 2010 Application Window Controls contains the minimize, restore, and close application commands.


Restored Window

If the Excel 2010 Application Window is restored then the Excel 2010 Application Window Controls will look like the example shown below. A restored window is simply a window that is not maximized. This version of the Excel 2010 Application Window Controls is similar to the maximized window version of the Excel 2010 Application Window Controls, but instead of the restore command, this version has the maximize command.


Minimize Command

This command will minimize the Excel 2010 Application Window.

Maximize Command

This command will maximize the Excel 2010 Application Window. This command will only be available if the the Excel 2010 Application Window is not already maximized.

Restore Command

This command will restore the Excel 2010 Application Window to the size it was before it was maximized. If the Excel 2010 Application Window is not maximized this command will not be available.

Close Command

This command will close the Excel 2010 Application. Excel will ask to save any unsaved workbooks before closing.
